Schools Programmes : Teacher CPD
‘Embedding Enterprise’ Teacher CPD
A fun action-packed programme involving all staff members experiencing key elements of a typical Enterprise event. Non-friendship teams of teachers experience a range of challenges which involve them being both entrepreneurial (taking risks) and enterprising (adapting to change).
A programme to challenge teachers to see ‘Enterprise’ as an integral part of each and every subject area, how enterprise might be further embedded in subject areas and also how it fits in with the National Curriculum.
Teachers get to experience what students experience, when being challenged to work with people they would not normally work with to achieve team objectives.
A great team building opportunity to enthuse staff and convey key messages.
School Feedback:
Dear Mike,
Thanks for the wonderful INSET day you delivered on Teambuilding and Enterprise.
We were thrilled that the training fulfilled the objective of bringing the staff from the nursery and the school together to participate in discussion and activities. The overall experience of the day was something that we had not done before and we are very glad that we did!
The day was very well organised and very well presented and I was pleased to have participated personally. I was able to observe the staff in action and it was obvious that they had enjoyed the day.
Thank you for the feedback sheets produced by Giant Impact; these were extremely useful as evidence for our recent Investors in People review.
We are looking forward to the follow up session next year.
With all good wishes and thanks.

"Thanks a lot for today - it definitely was the highlight as people were saying that they wished we had had at least the whole morning!"
